4/13 - 74 degrees on a falling tide?? Say it ain't so!!

www.captdaves.com - since 1996, inshore / coastal sport fishing, Jacksonville Charters

YES, ALL THAT HARD SOUTH WIND BLEW THAT WARM WATER OUR WAY I GUESS.

SO IT WAS SO. NO MORE 60 SOMETHING DEGREE WATER??

HELL, THERE OUGHT TO BE KINGFISH ON THE BEACH WITH 74 DEGREES, AND ALL THE BAIT THEY'D WANT.

MY CREW TODAY WAS A MOTHER AND SON DYNAMIC DUO. (fresh water) POND/RIVER FISHERMAN.

WHO GOT THE FULL INTENSE ROD BENDING TREATMENT
VIA THE GOOD OLE FLOAT-RIG SYSTEM using LIVE SHRIMP.

SPOT ONE WAS VERY INTENSE, ONCE THE TIDE GOT REALLY RIGHT.

''EVERY THING, I MEAN EVERY THING IS ABOUT WATER VELOCITY''

MAYBE NOT IN CEDAR KEY, OR TAMPA.....BUT IT IS HERE!

ONCE THAT CURRENT GOT REALLY RIGHT, IT WAS 'GAME ON'.

IF MY CREW GOT TO THE BOAT ALL THE REDFISH THAT HANDED THEM A WHOOPIN, OR JUST GOT OFF, I'D THINK WE WOULD HAVE SET A 2019 RECORD FOR THE AREA WE FISHED.

YES, IT WAS THAT FULL ON!

WE HAD OVER SIZED REDFISH TO 30 INCHES, RELEASED.

AND CAN YOU BELIEVE WE HAD 3, YES THREE KEEPERS......WOW!

I TELL PEOPLE, ''I GET THEM TWO WAYS, TOO BIG TO KEEP, OR TOO SMALL TO KEEP, ON AVERAGE.''

PLUS WE HAD 3 'SWEETHEART SIZE TROUT.

WAY MORE TO COME WITH 4 MORE DAYS IN A ROW....ENDING WITH A MORNING ''KIDS TRIP'' WITH A 5 AND 8 YEAR OLD.
