11/5 - WIND'S STILL HOWLING!!!!!!! Nov. will be a wash-out

https://www.captdaves.com - since 1996

TRIED TO GO TO THE SOUTH-SIDE OF SOUTH JETTY YESTERDAY WITH A LONG-TIME CUSTOMER AND HIS SON.

RIGHT BEFORE THEY ARRIVED, THE NEAR BY FLAGS WENT FROM WAVING TO 100% STANDING AT ATTENTION IN THE E.N.E. 15+ KNOT WINDS.

ALL COINCIDING WITH ''SUN-UP''. LIKE A LIGHT SWITCH, IT STARTED TO REALLY BLOW.

WE WERE FISHING A RISING TIDE, AND I REALLY WANTED TO GET TO THE SOUTH-SIDE OF THE SOUTH ROCKS.....OR JUST ''PACK IT IN''.

WE PACKED IT IN, AND DECIDED TO TRY NEXT WEDNESDAY, VETERANS DAY, MIKE'S NEXT DAY OFF.

NOVEMBER WILL BE A TOTAL WASH OUT, I GUESS.

-ELECTION MADNESS, CREATES 'INSECURITY' IN PEOPLE

-THE FIRST WEEK, JETTIES ARE DAMN NEAR UN-FISHABLE

-I COUNT ON STABILITY, AND A GREAT ECONOMY

IT'S REALLY TOO BAD, BECAUSE NOVEMBER IS MY FAVORITE MONTH.

NO A/C RUNNING, WINDOWS OPEN, NO SWEATING, AND I GET TWICE THE AMOUNT DONE AROUND THE JETTYWOLF FISH CAMP BECAUSE IT'S JUST SO PLEASANT OUTSIDE, COMPARED TO THE MISERABLE SUMMER MONTHS, WHEN PEOPLE THINK FISHING IS GREAT (inshore), BUT ISN'T!

HERE'S THE MARINE FORECAST FOR THIS WEEK:

THURSDAY
Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet with
a dominant period 8 seconds. Choppy on the intracoastal waters.
Chance of showers.

FRIDAY
Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. A
moderate chop on the intracoastal waters. Slight chance of
showers in the morning, then chance of showers and slight chance
of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

SATURDAY
East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Choppy
on the intracoastal waters. Chance of showers.

SUNDAY
East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Showers
likely and slight chance of thunderstorms.

DON'T SEE MUCH JETTY FISHING GOING ON THIS WEEK!

TEASER VIDEO....RE-SHOWING MY RIG.

Capt Dave's Sport Fishing

WINDS BLOWIN' 🌊⚠🌊⚠ so why not HELP YOU some, by re-hashing https://youtu.be/vI-K8TmJi9M

MY VERY OWN ''JETTYWOLF STRONG ARM RIG.

It stays tied to 1/2 the combos in my arsenal (I have a huge arsenal) it's always there, ready for a leader & hook. It's for Bottom fishing in current, in the St. Johns river. (even have used it offshore for snapper and more) VERSATILE! just adjust leader length/strength, and hook sizes.

✔✔OBJECTIVE; ''It keeps your 'leader' from tangling with your main line, for me 30# Hercules braid, when going up and down, bottom fishing.

YES, IT TAKES A COMMITMENT, TO MAKE THEM. Which the average guy won't do. But, on my boat with my customers (and myself) it works GREAT.
