Dave, That's why the Jettywolf is so hardcore! Alloy rocks. Check out this cute little alloy from NZ. I would love to have this:

The propane outboards are such a great idea. What size kicker would you need to troll with on your boat?

Yes, you saw me out there the other day with my little mud minnow. The was absolutely no water at oak harbor and I was damned that I was staying in on a nice day. See you around. Steph

Hey Steph, yeah your lil "mud Minnow is a great looking boat. Did I see a silver Honda on the stern??

I could push my boat with the propane 5 HP all day long as a troller...But then again I could just tap into my fuel tank versus carrying a propane cylinder.

Oh yeah. The "boats" from down-under give you so many choices. They have some really neat fuel efficient small alloy's. Fuel there isn't cheap either. And is sold by imperial Gallon, I think.

Yep, couldn't be happier with the 'Wolfie boat', it was 6 years on Oct 18th.

Those tides were KILLER!!!!!!
I wanna be a Gulf Coast Angler SOOOOOOOO badly.

Dave, nope, no Honda, '85 20hp Evinrude tiller. http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z287/flconrad/Maiden%20Voyage/P110113_1535_zpsb069ac94.jpg

First time I had it out this year. Spent the winter rebuilding the motor from top to bottom.
I'd love to get one of those 2.5 propane trollers.

I'm with you on the Gulf Coast.. I'm heading that way in March, but only to Ft. Walton beach to see my son.
Take care, see you around.

Oh boy, that lil' boats a sweetheart! I thought Honda because it was light in color from where I was on the other dock.

Good luck with it! Here's a fishing technique you can do with it really EZ, just incase you haven't thought about it.

Set two rods out with jigheads just heavy enough to get down, with 3" paddletail plastics and just troll a few creeks. Oh the Trout, reds and flounder you can catch! I used to do it when I had an ole aluminum tiller steer boat.

Especially in the winter months. A great way to find Fish hangouts.

Vary your distance behind the boat and just put her in gear and putt-putt, along. So much fun!

Thanks for the tips! What do you think about the whole Mile Point deal ? Been hearing about it for a long time now and then saw it on the news tonight. I can't believe that they are going to get rid of the little jetties and the park. I can't do the big jetties like the Jettywolf can.

Mile Point.....is that what "they" call it?

Just the continuation of the ruining of the river. Your fishing and mine is the last thing on their mind. Between the US Navy, and Shipping. And dredging the place is going to hell...Yeah haven't held my breath over it.

Dave, will you be at the JOSFC Thurs night for the swap meet sale?

I'm thinking about it......I have stuff I could bring to get rid of. Much is Like New!

Rods, and more.

Have a 7am charter on Friday. That's why I don't make it to all that many meetings. Because I can not be up too late as I need my beauty sleep and I get up at 4:30am.
