HAD A 4 PERSON CREW. AND ONE WAS CHELSEA.
THE ONLY WOMAN.
SO YA KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS....
-FIRST FISH
-BIGGEST FISH
HIT THE JETTIES AND BOTTOM FISHED. THE GOOD SIZED WHITING ARE INSANE OUT THERE.
CAUGHT AND KEPT ""55"".....YES 55, I CLEANED!
AFTER THE WHITING FEST WE WENT UP IN THE RIVER AND BOTTOM FISHED THE FIRST OF THE RISING TIDE.
AND OF COURSE, GUESS WHAT HAPPENED?
CHELSEA GOT HERE BIRTHDAY FISH!
A BEAUTIFUL 30 POUND BLACK DRUM THAT WAS CLEAN AS ALL HELL AND EVEN HAD A "COPPER" COLOR TO IT.
SHE FOUGHT THE FISH FOR DAMN NEAR A HOUR IN 45 FEET OF WATER WITH RIPPING CURRENT ON A 2/0 MUSTAD HOOK AND 40 POUND LEADER. SAME RIG WE USED FOR WHITING.
WE KEPT THE DRUM BECAUSE IT WAS SUCH A CLEAN FISH AND IT WAS CUT AND FILLETED IN MINUTES WITH MY MAKITA AND FILLETZALL BLADE.
